Hey everyone! My name is Emily Emery. Let me fill you in by telling you a little bit about myself and my experience with nutrition. I was a collegiate full scholarship swimmer, competitive triathlete, CrossFit Regional competitor, amateur bodybuilder and power lifter over the years. I’ve been a certified personal trainer for 11 years, and with all of that comes a lot of experience with nutrition. Not only for myself, but also for all my clients.
Personally I’ve competed in 3 bodybuilding competitions, not only gaining lots of muscle and getting stronger but also looking pretty shredded!!! I’ve also trained clients that have competed and placed at their competitions, it has truly been so rewarding to see their success. That is not everyone’s goal however, and most people want to shed some excess weight and/or build muscle and are unsure how to start from a dietary perspective. I have helped most of my clients (and I say most, because it does require adherence and motivation on their part) lose weight and get in much better physical shape. Others I have helped restructure their diet/nutrition to better tailor their needs for their sport performance.
